Welcome to “My New Play.”

I’m Rodney Robbins, the Singing Playwright and I’m here to help you sell more tickets! Sure I want you to sell more tickets to MY new plays and original musicals, but I also want to see you sell more tickets to whatever show you’re currently writing, directing or producing. As much as I love the classics, I just don’t think there are enough new shows out there to feed the insatiable hunger for new plays. My solution is to write original shows aimed squarely at a popular and clearly identifiable (read marketable) audience.
